The founder trustee, Johnson Chandra an engineering professional who had hailed from a village Alagyapandiapuram and Manur villages in Tirunelveli district. He has been grown with the toiling people and had seen all ups and downs of their life. He graduated from Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai, a prestigious institution and subsequently had obtained a post graduate degree from Australian university. He worked for various companies located right from Europe to Asia Pacific continents. Vijayarani cofounder trustee, wife of Johnson Chandra also a graduate from Madras Institute of Technology and a postgraduate from NTU Singapore, had worked with multinational organisations. The junior trustees Mukhil and Janani are still in universities. They are the motivators and supporting pillars for this trust initiatives.

Our Trustees have conceived this initiative from their parents Late Selvakumar a son of the soil and Late Petchiammal. Mr Selvakumar always used to encourage, guide, support youths’ education in the neighbouring villages

Since the trustees had seen the livelihood of unprivileged people, they wanted to play a part in their life upliftment. Therefore, they have contributed their part of their wealth to establish and run the MAKKAL ARAKKATTALAI (THE PEOPLE TRUST). The founders wish to make the trust self-sustainable and continue its services for ever with the support and contribution by the likeminded people like you.

நிறுவனர் மற்றும் அறங்காவலர் ஜான்சன் சந்திரா, திருநெல்வேலி மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள அழகியபாண்டியபுரம் மற்றும் மானூர் ஆகிய கிராமங்களைச் சேர்ந்த பொறியியல் வல்லுநர். அவர் உழைக்கும் மக்களுடன் வளர்ந்தவர் மற்றும் அவர்களின் வாழ்க்கையின் அனைத்து ஏற்ற தாழ்வுகளையும் கண்டவர். சென்னையிலுள்ள மெட்ராஸ் இன்ஸ்டிடியூட் ஆப் டெக்னாலஜியில் (MIT) பட்டம் பெற்ற அவர், ஆஸ்திரேலிய பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் முதுகலைப் பட்டம் பெற்றார். அவர் ஐரோப்பாவிலிருந்து ஆசியா பசிபிக் கண்டங்கள் வரை அமைந்துள்ள பல்வேறு நிறுவனங்களில் பணியாற்றினார்.

ஜான்சன் சந்திராவின் மனைவியான விஜயராணி நிறுவனர் மற்றும் அறங்காவலர், மெட்ராஸ் இன்ஸ்டிடியூட் ஆப் டெக்னாலஜியில் (MIT) பட்டதாரி மற்றும் சிங்கப்பூர் என்டியுவில் (NTU) முதுகலை பட்டதாரியான அவர் பன்னாட்டு நிறுவனங்களில் பணிபுரிந்தவர், மேலும் இந்த அறக்கட்டளையை அமைப்பதற்கு முக்கிய தூண்களாகவும் ஆதரவாகவும் இருந்தவர்.

எங்கள் அறங்காவலர்கள் இந்த முயற்சியை மண்ணின் மைந்தன் மறைந்த செல்வகுமார் மற்றும் மறைந்த பேச்சியம்மாள் அவர்களின் ஆசியோடு உருவாக்கியுள்ளனர். திரு செல்வகுமார் எப்போதும் கிராமங்களில் உள்ள இளைஞர்களின் கல்வியை ஊக்குவித்து, வழிகாட்டி, ஆதரவளித்தார்

அறங்காவலர்கள் வசதியற்ற மக்களின் வாழ்க்கையை பார்த்து வளர்ந்ததால், அவர்களின் வாழ்க்கை மேம்பாட்டில் பங்கு வகிக்க விரும்பினர். எனவே, மக்கள் அறக்கட்டளையை நிறுவி நடத்துவதற்கு அவர்கள் தங்கள் செல்வத்தில் ஒரு பகுதியை பங்களித்துள்ளனர்.
